The UFC followed up Floyd Mayweather's jabs toward Ronda Rousey and mixed martial arts payouts with a solid right hook of its own on Friday.
"I've yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes," Mayweather said on "SportsCenter" on Friday in reference to Rousey, the UFC's female bantamweight champion.
Although the variance in payouts between boxing and mixed martial arts can be vast on the high end, the UFC tweeted that Rousey needs far less time in her fights, crushing opponents quickly and excitedly, unlike Mayweather.
Mayweather appears to be on the ropes after the exchange.
